Cruise Ship Mv. Norwegian Dawn with more than 2000 tourists from different countries in the world has anchored in the Port of Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
The tourists have visited various attractions in the regions of Dar es Salaam and the Coast in Bagamoyo District, and others to visit the Selous Zoo.
Dar es Salaam Port Director Ndg. Mrisho S. Mrisho has said that the arrival of the longest ship ever to dock in the Port of Dar es Salaam is the result of the Government’s investment in the Sixth Phase where after increasing the depth of the port, ships with a length of 294 to 300 meters and more can dock .
Ndg. Mrisho said TPA is ready to serve bigger ships.
The ship left later in that evening to continue its journey.
