A delegation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) party of Adamawa state, led by State Chairman Barr. Idris Shua’ibu, has paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Mr. Ahmed Galadima Aminu.
This move saw the party’s officials presenting a congratulatory letter to Mr. Aminu.
The letter, signed by Chairman Barr. Idris Shua’ibu and Secretary Dr. Raymond Dauda Chidama, encouraged the new Executive Secretary “to ensure optimum capacity development in the area of oil and gas”.
During this interaction, the State Chairman highlighted the importance of the appointment, noting it as a historic first for their state in such capacity since they last had a Ministerial representation.
The Adamawa delegation emphasized their support for Mr. Aminu, emphasizing confidence in his ability to bring positive changes to his new role at PTDF.
Dr. Chidama particularly expressed his trust in Aminu’s capabilities, insisting that he would fulfill the responsibilities given by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mr. Aminu showed his appreciation for the gesture, thanking President Tinubu for the trust placed in him with the new appointment.
He reaffirmed his commitment to making sure that the PTDF continues to significantly contribute to the indigenous capacity development within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
