Dr. Raymond Omollo, the Principal Secretary of the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration, has introduced a standardized training program for private security guards.
The unveiling of the Private Security Guard Curriculum comes as part of the extensive security sector reforms and aims to uplift the level of expertise within the industry while improving the quality of contributions made by watchmen to Kenya’s national security.
This training program was developed through an inclusive and consultative process involving key stakeholders, signifying a concerted effort to address vital aspects of the private security sector and align it with evolving security requirements.
