Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, Emmanuella Arukwe, represented by the Head of Programme Management, Rose Okonkwo, stated that the initiative has trained over one million corps members nationwide. She noted that the programme is designed to build financial awareness and entrepreneurial capacity among Nigerian youths, enabling them to make informed economic decisions.

Also speaking, Acting Director of SAED, Usman Yahaya, commended the NNPC Foundation for its sustained commitment to youth development. He urged corps members to maximise the opportunity by acquiring multiple skills during their service year, stressing that such capabilities are essential for becoming job creators rather than job seekers.
The initiative builds on previous successes. In 2025, a total of 531 youths benefited from Starter Packs and financial support to launch their businesses, with many recording measurable growth across their enterprises.

Through its financial literacy programme, the NNPC Foundation continues to reinforce its commitment to preparing young Nigerians for sustainable careers and self-reliance, contributing to broader national economic growth and development.
