The Ghana Chamber of Shipping (GCS) has initiated talks with the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA), signaling a promising collaboration to propel growth in maritime, shipping, and logistics sectors.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, 21st February 2024, saw the GCS delegation, led by CEO Dr. Kofi Mbiah and Vice President Captain Aron Turkson, engaging with GSA counterparts to explore avenues of cooperation.
Captain Turkson emphasized the Chamber’s advisory prowess, while Dr. Mbiah underscored their adeptness in navigating regulatory landscapes, affirming commitment to offering unparalleled guidance.
In response, GSA expressed gratitude for the visit and pledged to leverage the Chamber’s expertise to advance sectoral growth and safeguard shippers’ interests.
The dialogue concluded with both entities agreeing to identify collaborative opportunities centered on enhancing efficiency, innovation, and sustainability within Ghana’s maritime and shipping sectors.
