Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga is set to attend the swearing-in ceremony of 15 Chief Officers from various departments in her administration on Monday.
The newly appointed officials will assume their roles in key dockets to support the county’s development agenda.
Notable among them is former Star journalist Isaac Victor Ongiri, who will be responsible for the Administration and Devolution dockets.
Ongiri, with prior experience at esteemed publications such as the Nation and Standard newspapers, previously served as the Director of Communications in Kisii County Government.

The appointments were made by Governor Wanga on June 22, following the county assembly’s successful approval of the candidates.
