Alhaji Abbas Umar Masanawa, the Nigerian Security Minting & Printing Chief Executive Officer has emerged Africa Public Sector magazine’s “CEO of the Week” for the Month August 14- 20th, 2022 rankings.
The highly-rated CEO of the Week is a weekly accreditation of Top performing CEOs of Public institutions, MDAs of African governments, following their achievements and portfolios amongst other criteria for the best in performances and developments.
The vibrant and hardworking Masanawa has over the years been a pivotal personality, handling the affairs for the smooth running of the country. His experience spans over 17 years of banking experience and rose to the position of Deputy General Manager in Zenith Bank PLC in the year 2014 before he left to serve as a Special Assistant to the Governor of the Central Bank. Before then, he was subsequently appointed as the Executive Director of Finance, Strategy and Marketing in NSPMC Plc. In his new role, he is the Chief Executive Officer, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Ahmadu Bello University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maiduguri.
He has also completed courses and programmes from the Harvard Business School, London Business School, and the University of Oxford.
