The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) has contributed GH₵100,000 worth of relief items to support the victims of the recent Akosombo Dam spillage.
The relief items, comprising assorted quantities of rice, cooking oil, and packaged drinking water, were officially handed over at the National Operations Centre for the Management of the disaster, located in the North Tongu District at Battor in the Volta Region.
Mr. Marlick Adjei, the Head of Corporate Communications and External Affairs at BOST, presided over the presentation ceremony.
The items were received by Mr. Osborn Divine Fenu, the North Tongu District Chief Executive, who expressed gratitude for the timely assistance.
The relief items are set to be distributed to the affected communities, providing much-needed support to those grappling with the aftermath of the dam spillage in the region.
