The Department of Public Service and Administration, in partnership with the North West Office of the Premier, hosted the National Labour Relations Forum in Mafikeng as a key component of the Public Service Month programme. The closed-session event convened labour relations practitioners from across the public sector to address critical issues shaping the labour landscape.

The forum focused on promoting fair labour practices, improving working conditions, advancing collective bargaining, and analyzing recent case laws impacting the labour market. These discussions underscored the Public Service Month’s commitment to fostering professionalism, accountability, and ethical labour relations within the public service.

By bringing together experts and stakeholders, the event aimed to strengthen the framework for equitable and effective labour relations, ensuring a more responsive and responsible public sector workforce.
