The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Olukayode Egbetokun, has ordered the deployment of 35 Commissioners of Police (CPs) to states and formations across the country.
The deployment comes following the approval of the Inspector-General’s recommendation by the Police Service Commission.
The newly posted CPs include Adelesi Oluwarotimi for Kwara, Adebola Hamzat for Oyo, Augustina Ogbodo for Ebonyi, Samuel Musa for Kebbi, Aderemi Adeoye for Anambra, Auwal Musa for Bauchi State, and Alamatu Mustapha for Ogun State, among others.

The Acting I-G emphasized the importance of the newly deployed CPs aligning with his policies, vision, and mission for the Nigerian Police Force.
He further urged them to prioritize citizens’ safety, uphold fairness, professionalism, and respect for human rights, while fostering harmonious relationships with other security agencies, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders.
