The Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Nigeria has ended its 2024 retreat focused on bolstering synergy for enhanced development within the Oil and Gas sector.
The retreat served as a platform for industry stakeholders to deliberate, and strategize on key initiatives aimed at propelling the sector forward.
The Executive Secretary of Petroleum Technology Development Fund(PTDF) Mr. Ahmed Galadima Aminu in his address, highlighted the critical importance of investing in human capital development, technological innovation, and sustainable practices to ensure the long-term viability and competitiveness of the sector.
He emphasized the need for collaboration and synergy among industry players, and reaffirmed PTDF’s commitment to fostering partnerships with Government agencies, private sector entities, and international stakeholders to drive impactful initiatives and projects.
The Executive Secretary outlined the Fund’s ongoing efforts in providing scholarships, training programs, and research grants to nurture a skilled workforce equipped to tackle the evolving challenges and opportunities in the Oil and Gas landscape.
