The former first lady Ana García de Hernández has disclosed recently her interest, saying that she would be running for president of Honduras. Recall, her husband, Juan Orlando Hernández, has served as president from 2014 to 2022.
Following a recent announcement, a New York jury earlier this month convicted Juan Orlando Hernández of three federal charges. One of the charges in the Justice Department’s indictment alleged he conspired to traffic cocaine into the United States, and the other two pertained to his possession of and conspiracy to possess machine-guns.
