Mombasa County has officially announced plans to distribute a staggering 835,036 mosquito nets.
The announcement was made during a County stakeholder sensitization meeting.
Household heads were urged to register for the campaign, ensuring that each family member receives the much-needed protection.
The Department of Health Service Mombasa emphasized the collaborative nature of the effort, with various stakeholders committing to support the distribution activities and contribute to the success of the comprehensive initiative.
“We hosted a County stakeholders sensitization meeting for a mass mosquito net distribution campaign to bring them up to speed on the upcoming distribution activities.
Mombasa County is expected to distribute approximately 835,036 mosquito nets.
Household heads will be expected to register to get nets for their family members.
Different stakeholders who attended the meeting pledged to support the activity in their unique ways to make it a success.
The last time we had a mass distribution done in the County was the year 2021,” Department of Health Service Mombasa wrote.
