The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has recently made an announcement regarding 757 available vacancies across various positions.
According to the TSC CEO, Nancy Macharia, one of the positions in demand is the Principal Teacher Management Officer (PTMO), with a total of 92 openings.
Interested candidates are required to have served as a Curriculum Support Officer for at least three years, demonstrating satisfactory performance.
Additionally, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in education from a recognized institution or possess a bachelor’s degree along with a postgraduate diploma in education.

Proficiency in computer application skills is also a prerequisite for consideration. Original documents such as national identification, academic and professional certificates, and current appointment and designation letters will be requested during the interview process.
Successful candidates will also need to present valid documents pertaining to Chapter 6 of the Constitution before final appointment.
Macharia emphasized that the TSC promotes equal opportunities and encourages persons with disabilities to apply. The application deadline for these positions is set for July 5, 2023.
In addition to the PTMO vacancies, the TSC has advertised 84 positions for Curriculum Support Officer I, 286 positions for Curriculum Support Officer II (regular), and 295 positions for Curriculum Support Officer II (CSO SNE).
Aspiring candidates must have served as Curriculum Support Officers in TSC scale 10 for a minimum period of three years.
Furthermore, applicants are expected to possess a master’s degree in education or special education from a recognized institution and have completed a management course lasting at least two weeks. The TSC seeks qualified individuals who can contribute to the improvement of education in the country.
