In a strategic diplomatic engagement held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Her Excellency Dr. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, President of the Republic of Kosovo, met with His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, to deepen bilateral ties and advance diplomatic cooperation between their nations.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to reaffirm their shared commitment to peace, stability, and sustainable development. President Osmani-Sadriu expressed gratitude to President Bio for the warm reception and productive discussions, highlighting the Antalya Diplomacy Forum as an effective platform for fostering meaningful dialogue that contributes to global peace.
Reflecting on Kosovo’s journey from conflict to reconstruction and growth, President Osmani-Sadriu underscored the role of diplomacy in national transformation. She extended a formal invitation to President Bio to visit Kosovo and observe its progress across key sectors, including trade, economics, agriculture, education, and technology.

President Osmani-Sadriu also conveyed appreciation for Sierra Leone’s continued support for Kosovo’s peace and stability, expressing optimism about advancing their partnership. She confirmed that both nations would immediately initiate technical-level discussions to identify priority areas for cooperation and work toward formalizing bilateral agreements.
In his remarks, President Bio welcomed the initiative and reiterated Sierra Leone’s willingness to collaborate with Kosovo in various sectors such as trade, agriculture, education, health, and tourism. He emphasized the need for concrete action, stressing the importance of translating diplomatic engagements into tangible outcomes that directly benefit citizens.
Both leaders agreed to accelerate efforts to build a robust framework for technical cooperation, marking a new chapter in Kosovo–Sierra Leone relations.
