The U.S. government has extended warm congratulations to Zambia on the occasion of its 60th Independence Day celebration.
In a message from the U.S. Department of State, the United States acknowledged the strength of its diplomatic ties with Zambia, which have endured for six decades.
“On behalf of the Government of the United States of America, congratulations to the people of Zambia on your 60th Independence Day celebration,” the message stated.
The U.S. also highlighted the wide range of areas where the two countries continue to collaborate, including infrastructure development, governance, and global health security.
“As we build upon the successes of the past six decades, let us continue in our steadfast partnership to make our world more safe, secure, and prosperous,” the statement read, underscoring the shared commitment to promoting regional peace and security.
