The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced mandatory training for all third-party contractors working on their projects.
The training, scheduled to be held at the ECG Training Centre, is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of project delivery across the country.
ECG emphasized that this initiative is vital for ensuring contractors are up to date with the latest industry standards and procedures.
According to ECG, the training will cover key areas such as updated technical guidelines, safety procedures, and best practices for electrical installations.
The company urged all contractors and their technical staff to take part in the program as it forms a crucial part of ECG’s compliance requirements.
ECG further warned that failure to attend the training could result in serious repercussions.
“Please note that failure to attend these mandatory training sessions may lead to suspension of contracts or ongoing projects until the contractor has successfully completed the required training,” they stated.
Non-compliant contractors may also face non-renewal of their ECG certifications and ineligibility to participate in future ECG projects.
