The Minister of Minerals and Energy, Hon. Lefoko Moagi has paid a working visit to the
BOL Francistown Depot this to appreciate the progress of the Francistown Depot Expansion Project.
The project will feature a 6-bay road loading and offloading gantry, an additional 60 million liters storage capacity, a rail loading and offloading gantry, a depot administration building and security buildings.
It will also include a product additive doping system, a laboratory, and a workshop building.
Additionally, it will have upgraded firefighting systems and a truck staging centre.
Joining the visit was the Acting Permanent Secretary, Dr. Obakeng, the Director of Energy Mr. Midas Sekgabo, the Botswana Oil Board Chairman Mr. Martin Makgatlhe and Board of Directors, the BOL Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Meshack Tshekedi and the Executive Management team.
