The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, under the directives of the Honourable Commissioner, Tokunbo Wahab, deployed special operatives from KAI/LAGESC on Wednesday to conduct an enforcement operation along the BRT Corridor at Ojota and Ogudu Ojota road.
The operation was to dislodge recalcitrant traders who were found to be in contravention of state environmental laws, causing a persistent nuisance in the area.
The special operatives meticulously carried out the directive, ensuring the removal of impediments that posed a threat to the environmental integrity of the region.
“Special Operatives of KAI/LAGESC in furtherance to the directives of HC MOE&WR, Tokunbo Wahab, Wednesday carried out enforcement operation at the BRT Corridor at Ojota and Ogudu Ojota road to dislodge recalcitrant traders constituting environmental nuisance in contravention of the state environmental laws” Lagos State Ministry Of The Environment and Water Resources wrote.
