Kenya has officially has officially launched the Treaty Database, showcasing its ratification of 252 treaties and membership in 84 international organizations.
This innovative digital platform serves as a comprehensive resource, streamlining access for diplomats, legal experts, stakeholders, the diaspora, and the public and private sectors to information regarding Kenya’s treaty obligations.
The agency indicated that the database is not only an effective instrument for simplifying treaty management procedures but also aligns with Kenya’s broader strategic initiatives, particularly the Digital Superhighway and Creative Economy outlined in BETA.
Permanent Secretary (PS) for Foreign Affairs, Korir Sing’oei expressed gratitude to all contributors, emphasizing that the Treaty Database symbolizes a collective dedication to shaping a future where diplomacy is efficient, transparent, and accessible to all.
“With this database, Kenya reinforces its dedication to fulfilling international obligations with utmost integrity.” – PS Sing’oei said.
