Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Kindiki Kithure has presided over the official opening of the sub-county offices and oversaw the installation of the
Deputy County Commissioner (DCC).
During the occasion, CS Kindiki Kithure delivered a stern warning to all security and administrative officers, emphasizing their collective responsibility to combat corruption and bribery within the public service, particularly in the security sector.
He stressed, “We will not condone a few of us tarnishing the reputation of the entire public service, especially in the security sector. Some of our colleagues have lost their lives and others injured while protecting us. For those of us doing their work diligently, we will progressively improve your welfare and ensure you are adequately kitted. Those engaging in bribery and corrupt deals, your days are numbered.”
This event marks a crucial step towards improving governance and transparency within the Iloodokilani sub-county, demonstrating the government’s commitment to eradicating corrupt practices and fostering a culture of integrity among its officers.
