The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) on July 8, 2023 took part in the Diabetes Walk organized by the Kenya Diabetes Management & Information Centre (DMI Centre).
The event, held at Carnivore Gardens in Nairobi, aimed to increase public awareness about diabetes and its management.
EPRA participated highlighting their commitment to not only ensuring the efficient provision of affordable energy resources but also promoting the well-being of their staff and the larger society.
“EPRA participation is in cognizant of the responsibility not only in ensuring the efficient provision of affordable energy resources but also in promoting the well-being of our staff and members of the larger society,” EPRA wrote.
The event featured informative sessions, health screenings, and interactive activities to educate the public about diabetes prevention and management.
By raising awareness about diabetes, EPRA strives to encourage early detection, improve access to healthcare services, and foster a more informed society when it comes to managing this chronic condition.
