Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forest Soipan Tuya on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, paid a courtesy visit to Sweden’s State Secretary for Foreign Trade, Hakan Jevrell in Stockholm.
This visit sorted to discuss the nexus between climate action and international trade, particularly in climate financing, green growth and carbon trading.
The CS and her host explored opportunities available in the area for a Kenya-Sweden partnership as well as Sweden’s support for the inaugural African Climate Summit that’ll be co-hosted by Kenya and the African Union in Nairobi from September 4-6, 2023.
