President Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi praised the Tshimoyapula Village Extension Team (VET) for their initiative in constructing eight houses for needy community members.
Presenting the houses, which included a ninth built by philanthropist Mr. Fankie Kokoro, President Masisi lauded Botswana Police Service’s Sergeant Stephen Pule, who spearheaded the project.
In recognition of his exceptional service, the President promoted Pule to Sub-Inspector, stating, “such an initiative was exceptional.”
President Masisi highlighted the importance of the project, emphasizing its alignment with Vision 2036 and the spirit of self-reliance.
He commended the villagers for their teamwork with public servants, noting that their efforts reflected his administration’s goals and aspirations.
The beneficiaries, registered with Serowe District Council as destitute or orphaned, now have secure shelter, thanks to this community-driven effort.
