The Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Gerald Mweli, has paid a business visit to the Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB) Offices in Moshi District, Kilimanjaro region.
During his visit, Secretary General Mweli held discussions with Mr. Primus Kimariyo, the Director General of the Coffee Board.
The discussions focused on various key activities conducted by the Board, such as the operation of coffee auctions, the distribution of coffee seedlings, and the productivity of the coffee export market.
This visit highlighted the critical role of the TCB in enhancing the coffee sector’s efficiency and international competitiveness.
In his address, Secretary General Mweli commended the TCB staff for their commendable performance and dedication.
He urged them to intensify their efforts towards establishing robust systems that would safeguard and bolster the country’s coffee market.
