The Board Chair of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Keli Gadzekpo has resigned.
This sudden move according to reports by ‘Citi News’ is expected to take an immediate effect.
Details amounting to his action has not yet been confirmed.
In 2017, Keli Gadzekpo was appointed to the board by the then Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, with a mandate to ensure energy sufficiency.
With over two decades of experience in investment banking, Gadzekpo is recognized for his entrepreneurial prowess, having notably contributed to the growth of the Databank Group of Companies, including Databank Asset Management Services and Databank Epack Investment Fund Ltd.
Gadzekpo, currently serving as the Board Chairman for Enterprise Group, also chairs the Databank Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Databank Group.
A graduate of Achimota School and holder of a BSc in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Gadzekpo further worked on his credentials adding a CPA from the USA.
He is a Mason Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he obtained a master’s degree in Public Administration.
