Residents of Msambweni and political figures gathered solemnly on Thursday, 21st December, 2023 to bid a final farewell to the late Kassim Bakari Mwamzandi, a distinguished former Member of Parliament who served the constituency from 1988 to 1997.
Having entered politics at the tender age of 23, Mwamzandi dedicated his life to public service, actively contributing under the leadership of both Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Arap Moi.
