The newly appointed Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Akutah Pius Ukeyima, has assumed his duties with a promise to play a pivotal role in Nigeria’s economic diversification from crude oil dependency.
Ukeyima addressed the Council’s staff, emphasizing the importance of the NSC’s mission in the country’s economic transformation.
He pledged to work closely with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Marine and Blue Economy Minister, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, to achieve success.
With the establishment of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, Ukeyima stressed the need for robust efforts, recognizing the immense responsibility ahead for the NSC and its team.
He expressed his commitment to being a servant leader and fostering a culture that rewards hard work and dedication.
