In a bid to advance the industrialization agenda of Kenya, the government has unveiled plans to invest Sh 600 million to build the capacity of 200 young individuals.
Under the initiative, these youths will receive training and be equipped with necessary machinery to effectively contribute to the industrial sector.
Dr. Juma Mukhwana, Principal Secretary of the State Department for Industry announced this development during his presentation at the 3rd Kenya International Investment Conference on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), held at a hotel in Nairobi.

Dr. Mukhwana further revealed that the government had already initiated the bidding process for the construction of the initial 14 County Aggregation and Industrial Parks, which are expected to be completed within the next two years.
