Carbinet Secretary of the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry, Moses Kuria on March 29, 2023 gave a key note address at the opening of the AMCHAM Business Summit in Nairobi.
“I took the opportunity on behalf of the government and President William Ruto to welcome the delegates to Kenya.
I assured the delegates that they are not in Kenya by mistake or by accident due to the fact that Kenya remains to be one of the few countries that has maintained political stability for over 30 years.
I also informed them that Kenya remains the market leader in the region with a skilled workforce, and talented Kenyans who remain our gold and it can be confirmed by the number of multinationals that have set up in Kenya,” he stated.
During his address, CS Kuria applauded the Kenya/US team handling the STIP negotiations, assuring that the team will reach a positive agreement in its second round negotiation in April.
He also reiterated that the government and the ministry of Investment is ever open for business, urging investors to identify local partnerships to work with from the different sectors and counties in order to grow the economy of this country.
