Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has been elected Vice President of Airports Council International (ACI) Africa at the body’s annual conference in Lusaka, Zambia.
With this appointment, Kuku also assumes a permanent seat on the ACI World Governing Board, placing Nigeria at the heart of global decision-making in the aviation sector. Her mandate is expected to advance safety, connectivity, innovation, and sustainability across African airports.
The FAAN delegation, led by Kuku and senior management, made a strong impression at the gathering, reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening aviation standards continent-wide. Delegates engaged with industry leaders on pathways for sustainable growth, enhanced collaboration, and the modernization of African airport infrastructure.
