Hundreds of women from across Southern Africa gathered at Sun City for Me Time 2025: I Am Every Woman, a transformative event hosted by the Isago Foundation.
The vibrant program united youth, women with disabilities, and entrepreneurs in a dynamic mix of exhibitions, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, all centered on the theme of collective empowerment.
Under the inspiring banner of “I Am Every Woman,” the event emphasized that true empowerment lies in creating opportunities for all women, not just individual success.
Attendees engaged in discussions highlighting the need for inclusivity, financial independence, and sustainable growth to uplift communities across the region.
A key highlight was the announcement from Sedfa, which reaffirmed its commitment to women’s empowerment through its newly launched Women’s Empowerment Desk and Women’s Entrepreneurship Fund. Introduced in August 2025, the fund aims to expand access to finance, provide training, and foster partnerships for women-owned enterprises.

Targeting women in corporate spaces, young graduates, and those in townships and rural areas, Sedfa’s initiatives are designed to drive inclusivity and economic resilience.
The event concluded with a powerful call to action, underscoring that women’s progress hinges on shared responsibility and collaboration. Speakers and participants alike stressed that equitable access to resources is critical for women to transform their communities and build a sustainable future.
Me Time 2025 not only showcased the strength and diversity of Southern African women but also set a bold agenda for collective empowerment, with the Isago Foundation and its partners leading the charge.
