Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) staff based at PG Matante International Airport (PGMIA) in partnership with Botswana Fire Fighters Forum hosted the annual Botswana Fire Fighters Forum Wellness Week 2024.
The event was held in Old Francistown Stadium between 03-07 October 2024.
Botswana Fire Fighters Forum Wellness Week is a celebration dedicated to promoting health, wellness and camaraderie among fire fighters in Botswana and the communities they serve.
The activities from the week included, a march, a motorcade, beauty contest, quiz, squad drill, athletics, ball sports, indoor games, tag of war, safety inspections, safety awareness, simulation exercise, corporate social responsibility and toughest fire.
This year’s event was held under the theme ” Promoting fire safety through stakeholder collaboration with particular focus on aircraft rescue and fire fighting for safer take offs and landings”.
