The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) through the South regional office has provided training on the NeST system to 270 employees of Nachingwea District in Mtwara Region.
The six-day employees training which commenced from June 10 to 14, 2024 for involved 50 participants from the Nachingwea District Council while lesser level employees from various cadres and levels including 44 Village Executives, 47 Ward Executives, Officers of Health 27, 11 primary and 91 secondary school teachers.
The event concluded with the training of bidders held on June 15, 2024 where a total of 19 bidders attended.
“The authority continues with the process of providing the training to public institutions and bidders where on June 24-29, 2024 the training of the NeST system is expected to be conducted in all regions in the country on the Tanzania Mainland side,” PPRA wrote.
