The Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Issa Zarepour and Tanzanian Minister of Trade and Industrial Development, Omar Said Shaaban has reviewed ways to broaden technological ties.
Issa Zarepour met and held talks with Omar Said Shaaban and his accompanying entourage in Tehran on Wednesday.
Discussions during the meeting were focused on expanding relations between their countries, specifically in the field of communications and information technology.
Issa Zarepour also expressed the country’s readiness to develop fixed communications in Tanzania based on fiber optic networks and e-government development.
Shaaban, welcoming the idea, acknowledged the capabilities of Iranian companies in the field of communication and information technology and hoped that Tanzania could benefit from these capacities.
