Herbert Krapa, Chairman of the governing board of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), has offered reassurance to Ghanaians, affirming that the prolonged power crisis, locally termed “Dumsor,” will soon be a thing of the past.
Speaking on behalf of the government, Krapa stated that robust measures have been enacted to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the coming days.
Expressing gratitude to the Ghanaian populace for their patience, Krapa highlighted the government’s commitment to swiftly resolving the challenges faced by consumers.
In a recent Facebook post, Krapa conveyed confidence in the efficacy of the measures implemented, projecting an imminent resolution to the service interruptions, which have persisted for the past seven weeks.
“We are fully confident that the measures being put in place should resolve the service interruptions. We empathise with all consumers and apologise unreservedly for the effects of the outages on our daily lives. Please bear with us. We are fixing it and we are nearly there,” Herbert Krapa’s post read.
