The National Identification Authority (NIA) has revealed an increase in its registration service fees, effective from May 1, 2024.
The adjustments, in accordance with the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provision) Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481).
Under the premium service category, first-time registration and record update services will cost GH¢310, with card replacement priced at GH¢420.
Regular card replacement will be GH¢125.
While first-time registration and record updates remain free at NIA regional and district offices, citizens are urged to take note of the changes for card replacement services.
