The official Guest Assistant Administrative Secretary Mwanza Region Mr. Henry Mwaijega has urged the Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) to manage existing infrastructures under the care of the Authority.
This was said during the opening of the 31st Meeting of the Workers’ Council held at the Central Bank of Tanzania Hall in Mwanza.
In a statement released by TAA on X, Mwaijega during his address also urged the Authority to avoid actions of greed and corruption.
“I would like to direct TAA to efficiently and professionally manage the projects as well as the existing infrastructure in the fields by considering the financial value of the projects and the infrastructure, as well as avoiding corruption and greed and also being obedient to your leaders” said Mwaijega.
Mr. Mwaijega further requested that members of the meeting carefully monitor the Budget plan for the financial year 2024/2025 and involve other employees in order to have a common understanding.
“The 31st meeting of the Workers’ Council is being held on 26-27 March 2024, among other things, the budget plan of the Tanzania Airports Authority for the financial year 2024/2025 will be discussed,” TAA added.
