The National Communications Authority (NCA) has hosted a group of ninety (90) undergraduate students from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) at the NCA Tower in Accra.
The educational visit aimed to familiarise students with emerging industry trends in Network Telecommunication Operations, Cybersecurity and Radio Frequency Management.
The Authority seized the opportunity to educate the students on the recent internet disruptions and the how the Authority is engaging with its stakeholders to ensure full restoration.
As part of the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the NCA-CERT, Broadcasting Monitoring Centre (BMC), and Type Approval Laboratories.
“These tours offered them valuable insights into the operations of these facilities,” the Authority wrote.
