The Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management, Moses Kuria has asserted that all 36 VTCs in Nyamira County will be rebranded to NYS-VTC MASHINANI.
This statement comes as he paid a working visit to Nyaigesa VTC.
“All the 36 VTCs in Nyamira county shall be rebranded to NYS-VTC MASHINANI and be fully equipped by the national government,” CS Kuria wrote on X.
Prior to this visit, CS Kuria also paid a visit to the Industrial Park to physically grasp its development journey.
“After visiting the Industrial Park, I visited Nyaigesa VTC. I was accompanied by my host, Nyamira county Governor, H.E. Hon. Amos Nyaribo, West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka, County Commissioner Erastus Mbui, County Secretary Dr. Jack Hesborn, among other leaders from the county and national government,” he added.
Nyaigesa VTC was established in 1982 and is accredited by TVET-A. It is a centre of excellence in Fashion Design and Tailoring.
