The County Government of Nakuru in collaboration with Nakuru Box, has organized a one-day event called the Mastercard Edtech Fellowship Program.
The event was officially opened by Pastor Alex Maina, the Chief Officer for Youth, Sports Talent, and Resource Mobilization.
Nakuru Box led by George Wayne,a leading co-working space in Nakuru Town, offers a sophisticated environment for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and startups to collaborate and thrive.
Over 100 youth entrepreneurs from the county participated in the event, exploring Nakuru Box’s offerings, including co-working spaces, the Msingi Incubation program, SMEs acceleration, corporate training, events consultancy, housing and management, Nakuru Box Academy and Clinic, and project management.
Pastor Alex Maina commended Nakuru Box’s leadership for providing opportunities to empower young people economically through entrepreneurship and SMEs programs.
Present were County Directors Josphat Kimemia (Youth), Monica Sitin (Trade), Representation from Nakuru Box, iHub , Mastercard Foundation, Ajiry Centre Manager Victoria Kithongo among others.
