Mr. Femi Idowu-Adegoke, a Chartered Waste and Environmental Sustainability Consultant, has been appointed as the Special Assistant to the Minister of State for Environment, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Adeboye Salako.
With over two decades of experience in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria, Mr. Idowu-Adegoke is poised to play a crucial role in formulating and implementing policies to tackle environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices nationwide.
In his newly acquired position, Mr. Idowu-Adegoke expressed deep honor, emphasizing his commitment to diligently work alongside the Ministry’s team.

His extensive background in environmental sustainability, coupled with his role as Co-Founder/Executive Director of Ecoviridis Environmental Technology Limited, positions him as a valuable asset to the Ministry’s mission for a greener and more sustainable future in Nigeria.
Femi Idowu-Adegoke’s rich portfolio includes mentorship with the Tony Elumelu Foundation, a Doctoral Fellowship, and memberships in various international and national environmental associations.
With academic credentials ranging from a Professional Doctorate degree in Advanced Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Technologies to a Master’s in Environmental and Earth Resources Management, his expertise underscores the Ministry’s commitment to addressing environmental issues with precision and dedication.
