Nakuru County Government has joined residents and the Visoi ward community in bidding farewell to an adored member of the community, Sarah Chebet Koe of Burgei village.
Chief Officer for Public Participation and Citizen engagement, Hon. Edward Gitau, alongside family, friends, and clergy, gathered to celebrate Sarah’s life .
Hon. Gitau shared H.E. Governor Susan Kihika’s condolences praising Sarah to be known for her dedication to church activities and community service.
The Chief Officer also emphasized the importance of health insurance schemes like National Health Insurance Fund- NHIF, to help manage the financial burdens during illness.
He highlighted ongoing development projects, including the Burgei water project and increased bursary allocations for students.
The government also indicated that efforts are underway to reclaim public lands from private developers for communal benefit and progress.
Visoi ward MCA, Hon. Hellen Chemutai, Amalo ward MCA, Hon. Robert Lang’at and Soin ward MCA, Hon. Degaulle Nabruki were also present.
