The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) under the leadership of Chief Executive Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art office complex in the Adaklu-Anyigbe district of the Volta region.
Dr. Okoe Boye stressed the need of operating in an enabling environment and urged staff to maintain the facility consistently.
He highlighted the NHIA’s commitment to providing befitting office complexes across the country to enhance their work and boost the corporate image of the organization.
The CEO also commended the technological advancements in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), particularly the MyNHIS App, emphasizing its unmatched convenience and accessibility.
Dr. Okoe Boye announced the NHIA’s progress in claims processing and payment systems, moving from over one year indebtedness to monthly disbursements, paying claims up to August 2023.
The Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, expressed gratitude for the fully furnished workspace, attributing the Scheme’s recent gains to the dedication of staff and excellent leadership.
He further distributed four brand-new Toyota Hilux pick-ups to district offices in Ketu North, Adaklu-Anyigbe, South Dayi, and Kpando.
