Tanzania Airport Authority (TAA) has revealed that the Passenger building at the Arusha Airport is 90% complete.
The project is according to the Authority is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
“The Board has been able to visit the Arusha airport to see for themselves the construction project of the passenger building, which is currently 90 percent complete and is expected to be completed by the end of this year,” the Authority announced on X.
Upon the visitation, the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Airports Authority held a meeting to evaluate the overall performance of the Authority from its inception until June 2023.
During the session, the Board conducted a comprehensive review encompassing all facets of the Authority’s functioning.
“The Advisory Board of the Ministry of Airports Authority of Tanzania has held a special meeting in the hall of Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha.
In that meeting, the Board has discussed the performance of the Authority since its inception until June 2023 in all aspects of the Authority’s performance,” the Authority added.
Mr. Juma Hassan Fimbo, Chairman of the Advisory Board, commended the effective management of the TAA in implementing development plans.
He emphasized the importance of formulating and executing development strategies that align with the broader interests of the country.
