President Bola Tinubu has officially named Ahmed Galadima Aminu as the new Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
Aminu’s appointment comes with an initial term of four years and follows the retirement of the outgoing CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, who began his 90-day pre-retirement leave on September 26, 2023.
Prior to this appointment, Aminu held the position of General Manager in the Education and Training Department at PTDF.
He will serve in an acting capacity until December 26, 2023, when his full term as CEO commences.
President Tinubu expressed his best wishes to the newly appointed PTDF CEO for a successful tenure in the statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
