The Department of Employment and Labour in the Western Cape is set to host a Career and Opportunities Expo in Oudtshoorn on June 27.
The Expo aims to facilitate access to employment and learning opportunities for work-seekers in the region.
The event will provide a platform for work-seekers to gather information about available job prospects and training programs.
Numerous exhibitors will participate, offering their services and presenting potential opportunities.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their identification documents and resumes to register on the Department’s Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database, which connects work-seekers with job placements at no cost.
In addition to job and training opportunities, the Expo will also feature guidance sessions on crafting effective resumes, interview skills, and overcoming barriers to employment.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to address unemployment and assist individuals in securing meaningful employment.
