Minister of Information, Communication, and Information Technology, Mr Nape Nnauye, has at the 11th Mwananchi Thought Leadership Forum (MTLF) announced that his ministry is in the final stages of unveiling a comprehensive 10-year plan for the National Digital Economy Framework.
The plan, which covers the period from 2023 to 2033, aims to foster the growth of the digital economy and ensure a sustainable and inclusive future.

Minister Nnauye further revealed that within the next three and six months, the government plans to release several policies, including the National ICT Policy, Startups Policy, Digital Public Infrastructure Blueprint Policy, Digital Strategy, and National ICT Development Plan.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment to bridging the digital divide, the minister pledged continued investment in expanding ICT infrastructure and internet connectivity nationwide.
