The Kenyan delegation to the United Nations agency for digital technology initiative, ITUGSR has held a bilateral engagements with the Executive President and GSR-23 Chair National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) Eng. Hossam El-Gamal on issues of mutual interest.
The Kenyan team comprises of the Board Chairperson of Communication Authority (CA) of Kenya, Ms. Mary Mungai, Director General of CA, Ezra Chiloba and Director Communication of CA, Albert Kochei.
The issues discussed cut across cyber security, mobile money services, universal access and digital inclusion strategies.

The two ICT regulators specifically explored ways of learning from one another to advance ICTs in the respective countries.
The ITUGSR brings together heads of national telecom/ICT regulatory authorities from around the world to share their views and experiences on the most pressing regulatory issues.
This follows Heads of Regulators Executive Roundtable at the ITUGSR hosted by ITU Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The Director General, Ezra Chiloba spoke on Kenya’s experience in fostering cross-sectoral collaboration in the digital space.
