Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Investments, Trade, and Industry, Moses Kuria took the stage at the Qatar Economic Forum as a representative of H.E. President William Ruto.
Kuria participated in a panel discussion titled “UNCHARTED TERRITORY: Rerouting Trade Strategies & Systems,” where he showcased the potential of Kenya’s economy. The prestigious event brought together global business leaders and ten Heads of States, including H.E. Presidents Paul Kagame of Rwanda and Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana.
With over 2,000 business and government leaders attending, this year’s Qatar Economic Forum served as a prominent platform for dialogue on crucial topics such as inflation, investment in emerging markets, energy transformation, and trade. In his remarks, Secretary Kuria emphasized the numerous investment prospects that Kenya offers, particularly in the food sector, green energy, and digital trade.

He urged the international community to seize the opportunity and consider Nairobi as the regional financial center. The presence of high-profile dignitaries and the exchange of ideas at the forum showcased Kenya’s commitment to economic growth and international collaboration.
